Tom Moore Named Connecticut’s 2022 Superintendent of the Year
Tom has worked in the West Hartford Public School system for 25 years, beginning as a social studies teacher at Conrad High School in 1996. He later became the department supervisor before serving as Conrad’s principal from 2007-2010. In 2010 he became assistant superintendent for administration until he was named superintendent in 2014. Tom is a trusted advisor to the College Board, serving as Vice Chair. He truly embodies the College Board’s mission in every way. “I want to congratulate Tom Moore for a richly deserved honor. There are very few people in this world I have come to admire more,” said CEO of the College Board, David Coleman. “Tom is balanced and thoughtful in his leadership, with an astute focus on the full needs of his community and the children there.
