Hundreds Gather to Learn About PowerFAIDS Cloud

College Board recently hosted more than 500 financial aid professionals at the virtual PowerFAIDS User Conference 2021. Enthusiasm was high as presenters shared more about PowerFAIDS Cloud and gave demos of new functionality. Exciting new PowerFAIDS Cloud features include flexible academic calendars, automated borrower-based award year packaging, and communication enhancements such as text messaging.

Attendees benefited from the expertise of their PowerFAIDS peers. Cloud beta testers and product advisers talked about their hands-on experience with new software components. Participants in the beta program provide critical feedback on PowerFAIDS Cloud and help to shape software development.

For 26 years, PowerFAIDS has empowered financial aid offices with robust need analysis, efficient packaging, proven compliance features, and excellent customer support. By automating the aid process, PowerFAIDS eliminates hours of manual work, which frees up time for professionals to focus on students. Created for financial aid professionals by financial aid professionals, PowerFAIDS Cloud—the next generation of PowerFAIDS—builds on this legacy. It combines state-of-the-art technology with best-in-class functionality.

“Moving to PowerFAIDS Cloud is the best option for my institution,” said Kathy Anderson, associate vice president of student financial services at Berklee College of Music. “I’m excited about the progress College Board has made with PowerFAIDS Cloud and the possibility of streamlining our IT overhead with cloud architecture.”
