College Board President Jeremy Singer Launches Podcast Focused on Education Progress

Today, I’m excited to share with College Board members The Education Equation, a new podcast that dives into one of the toughest questions in our field: how do we make real, scalable progress in education?

Why this podcast?

Across education, our members are confronting persistent inequalities and stagnant learning outcomes. Despite some meaningful progress, as a nation we are still far from where we need to be. At the same time, there’s enormous hype about how innovation and technology can improve teaching and learning. But too often, the success stories are limited to small pilots that can’t be scaled or are unproven altogether.

The Education Equation is about cutting through the noise. Each episode features candid conversations with educators, researchers, and innovators who are using evidence and data to push beyond the hype and focus on what actually improves outcomes for students. It’s a space for deeper, grounded dialogue—with the goal of surfacing strategies that are truly moving the needle.
